Sign Installer FAQ

Is there room for pay advancement beyond the $20/hour start?

Absolutely. $20/hour is the starting floor for our installers. As you prove your efficiency in the field, handle equipment safely, and take on lead responsibilities on job sites, your compensation will grow based on your performance. We want people who want to grow with the company.

If there are no installs scheduled, do I get sent home?

No, we keep our team busy. When you aren’t in the bucket truck or operating a lift in the field, you will be working alongside our fabrication team. All of our installers cross-train in sign production to help build the channel letters, monument signs, and pylon signs you’ll eventually be installing.

What safety and driving credentials do I need?

Safety is our top priority. We strongly prefer candidates who already hold a valid Alabama Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) via the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). Experience safely operating bucket trucks in compliance with OSHA aerial lift standards is expected from day one, alongside general job site safety knowledge.
